When I hit 18 years and got my driver's license, my dad gave me 2107 so I could drive it. It was such a shit that I opted to just walk and ride buses.

I got stuck with a Polestar 2 rental from Hertz, for me it was hands down the worst car I'd ever driven, gas or electric. I've own a Tesla Model 3 Performance and have driven it nearly 80k miles, I find the Tesla performs better in both handling and acceleration, is more comfortable and charges much faster than the P2 that I had. After a week with the P2 I couldn't get back into my M3P fast enough, not to mention my M3P cost $15k less, has better range, and is still worth more than a more expensive Polstar 2. Also, your brake rotor was not "warped" due the wheel being bent, the rotor had uneven pad transfer to the rotor surface, cause the friction between the pad and the rotor to vary, cause a pulsation in the brake pedal which just feels like the rotor is warped. You most likely could have just had the brake rotor machined to remove the uneven pad transfer rather than replacing the rotor, but these days, the vehicle manufacturers would rather just sell you a new rotor along with your new wheel. Your same route would take more than two hours less in a Tesla Model 3 due to the 250kW charging, with the charging time being 2 hours and 52 min, and you'd be using the Tesla Supercharger network which is way more reliable. My rental had Pilot Assist, but compared to Autopilot, it was a big disappointment. Again, the P2 is not a bad car, but the ownership and driving experience to me is not as good as what you get from owning a Tesla. I also like the fact that the Tesla Model 3 is made in the US, not in China. Your review was honest and highlighted many of the flaws I experienced during my week with the P2.

My own electric project has a similar problem Too much throttle and it cuts out . Seems based on current issues. The controller is basic and I think tuned for a lower current but non programmable. I wonder if you tried upping the current limit settings? I think Kelly makes good controllers. Thanks for your video.

Just wow. Why has it taken so long for someone to go "hey, efficiency means better range!". Everything about this car screams "We put the fucking thought in!" and they have really killed it. Fuck Tesla, fuck nissan, fuck BYD, fuck all of those "Make sports car, put battery in" car manufactures. This, this right here is how you make electric cars actually ecologically viable without sacrificing everyday creature comforts.

tuning demands you check the plug, and adjust the needle to get the best mixture.

2 strokes (especially) need to be designed with the intake length in mind. when you changed the intake you inadvertantly screwed up the tuning... which is why it will not make power. I see these things climbing hills ok.. granted your gearing may be efoooked also.

Interesting. I'm on my 6th year on the original batteries and still get a 70% charge. I can still so my whole yard, but I have to wait till the next day to do my (very long) walking trail around the property. The thing just keeps going. I wonder why some of them seem to die so fast. I guess luck was with me when I got mine.
